From Lucille`s to the Yard.

Friday night i went to Lucille`s
where Nikki Armstrong was playing
and celebrating her birthday.

The band was cooking
with Jason Green on guitar
Rob Chaseman on sax
and it`s always fun to listen and watch
all these very talented musicians who were there
taking the stage making music and improvising.

Dave Fields played two songs he wrote
for her new upcoming studio album,
we did a slow blues together
and later while i was singing one of my songs,
i heard someone applauding me in Greek.

When i finished my set i met with this Greek guy at the bar
who was so thrilled to discover BBKING`s, the band and Me.
After talking with him a while he could not believe
i was the same person who had played with
Paulos Sidiropoulos
(The main riff of the song in this video was written by me and i also play the lead"
but by the time they videotaped it i was living in Sweden),
and recorded one of his favorite songs "I magissa tis Arapias".

I always meet interesting people there i must admit!

Monday night i went to see and jam with my friends
at Scotland Yard in Hoboken.

Big Ed Sullivan was hosting the jam
and when i walked in Arthur Neilson
was on bass and later played some amazing guitar too.

There were so many good players there as always
and i hung with Mike Torres
while talking to Christine Santelli behind the bar,
and later to Poppa Chubby and his wife Galea.

I left around midnight and i was so inspired i stayed up till the wee hours of the morning playing my
Strat.
